A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PERMANENT
PUBLIC INGRESS AND EGRESS
EASEMENT EXTENDING FROM THE INTERSECTION OF MILWAUKEE
AVENUE AND GROVE STREET TO THE CHOCOLATE FEST GROUNDS
WHEREAS, Highway 36/Grove Associates, a Wisconsin
Limited Partnership, has agreed to convey to the City of
Burlington, for mutual benefit, a permanent public
ingress and egress easement, as described herein and
shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS, this permanent public ingress and egress
easement is granted to allow local motorists including
but not limited to, residents of the Maryland Avenue and
Congress Street neighborhood and users of the parks and
festival grounds located within this neighborhood access
over that portion of the Walgreen’s store site as shown
on Exhibit "A".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common
Council of the City of Burlington, Racine County, State
of Wisconsin, to accept the terms and conditions as
stated within Exhibit "A", Ingress and Easement;
Amendment and Modification of Access Easement for
Emergency Vehicles.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor is hereby
authorized and directed to execute this agreement on
behalf of the City.
