WHEREAS, the City of Burlington has entered into a master agreement for engineering services with Applied Technologies, Inc.; and,

WHEREAS, an amendment is required to proceed with Phase I where modifications and additions are needed which includes: removal, cleaning repairing sandblasting, painting and reinstalling the digester covers; improvements to the Screening Room HVAC system; improvements to the Solids Building HVAC system; study to optimize the size of the new primary clarifier and extending standby power to the First Stage building as required for contract administration which have resulted in Amendment Number One to Task Order Number One, a copy of which is attached hereto as Attachment "A"; and,

WHEREAS, said Amendment Number One to Task Order Number One is for the not-to-exceed amount of $36,200.00 and has been reviewed and recommended for approval by the Utility Manager.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Burlington that Amendment Number One to Task Order Number One, attached hereto as Attachment "A", is hereby approved for the not-to-exceed amount of $36,200.00.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to execute Amendment Number One to Task Order Number One on behalf of the City.
