WHEREAS, the City of Burlington has entered into the 2006 Street and Sidewalk Improvement Program with Kapur and Associates, Inc.; and,

WHEREAS, the addition work associated with the original 2006 Street and Sidewalk Improvement Program, including the redesign of State Street from Perkins Street to Kane Street; utility construction at the Market Street intersection and on State Street; and to provide a signalized access point off of the Grove Street Alley onto STH 36/83, which have resulted in Amendment Number One, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part thereof; and,

WHEREAS, said Amendment Number One is for the not-to-exceed amount of $34,339.00 and has been recommended for approval by the City Engineer and the DPW Supervisor Parks and Streets.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Burlington that Amendment Number One to the 2006 Street and Sidewalk Improvement Program is hereby approved for the not-to-exceed amount of $34,339.00.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to execute Amendment Number One on behalf of the City.
