WHEREAS, the City of Burlington has entered into a master agreement for engineering services with Kapur and Associates, Inc.; and,

WHEREAS, the City has requested assistance with the coordination of the quarterly groundwater monitoring well sampling activities; the evaluation of the groundwater laboratory data; the collection and evaluation of the methane gas sampling results from the wells located in and around the landfill mass; and the preparation of the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) Annual Report, which has resulted in a task order, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part thereof; and,

WHEREAS, said task order is for a two year period for the not-to-exceed amount of $37,972.00 and has been recommended for approval by the DPW Supervisor, Streets and Parks.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Burlington that Task Order Number Fifty-Three is hereby approved for the not-to-exceed amount of $37,972.00.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to execute Task Order Number Fifty-Three on behalf of the City.
