VOTING LOCATIONS

If you live in the First or Second District which includes Wards 1-8, you will vote at Cross Lutheran Church, 126 Chapel Terrace.

If your residence is in the Third or Fourth District, Wards 9-16, you will vote at the United Methodist Church, 857 West State Street.

Absentee Ballots
for the February 16, 2010 Spring Primary Election are now available at City Hall, 300 North Pine Street, during the normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Before you can vote absentee, you must be a registered voter and complete an application for an absentee ballot. We have many voters who vote absentee on a permanent basis due to ill health or age and they are automatically sent a ballot for every election. If you or someone you know would be interested in being included on this list, please contact city hall at 342-1161.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at an election to be held in the City of Burlington on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, the following offices are to be elected to succeed the present incumbents listed. The terms for Mayor and Aldermen begin on April 20, 2010 and for Municipal Judge on May 1, 2010. All terms are for two years unless otherwise indicated.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the first day to circulate nomination papers is December 1, 2009, and the final day for filing nomination papers is 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 in the office of the city clerk located at City Hall, 300 North Pine Street, Burlington, Wisconsin.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that if a primary is necessary, the primary will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2010.
