The Police Department provides patrol to all parts of the City, responds to calls for police service, conducts investigations in response to reported crimes, generates and maintains records of all reported crimes and police related incidents; provides emergency response to major accidents, natural disasters, civil disorders and other public emergencies, and community crime prevention services.

Purpose Statement

Our purpose and why we exist is to build trust, reduce crime, and see justice is served, while being a valuable resource to our community. To defend citizens Constitutional Rights and protect people from harm.
