The City of Burlington has contracted with
Veolia Environmental Services in Muskego, WI for solid waste collection and recycling services All materials to be collected must be placed by the curb on the morning of your scheduled pickup day.
Certain items require special advance arrangements or instructions for disposal. Please call 262-679-0860 to dispose of:
Trash and Refuse Pickup
All trash, refuse and garbage must be bagged in large plastic garbage bags or placed in totes next to the curb.
Recycling Program
The following information provided
to us from Veolia Environmental Services should be
helpful in determining what is recyclable and what

In addition, foam polystyrene packaging and
plastic containers (#3 to #7) will be
collected when mandated by the State of
Wisconsin. Several white goods such as major
appliances; refrigerators, washers, dryers,
water heaters will be collected curbside
each week on Thursdays. Also keep in mind
that Veolia's tire collection policy is one
(1) car tire, less rim per week collected
curbside at NO CHARGE.

Blue Bin Replacement
If you have lost or must replace your blue recycling bin, please call the City Clerk at 262-763-3717. There is a $8.00 charge for bin replacement.
