wastes, such as aerosol cans, floor products, cleansers,
disinfectants, old gasoline, automotive fluids, oil

reactive.

biologicals, radioactive, medical waste, propane
cylinders, ammunition, and commercial wastes.
Caution is urged for anyone transporting items to the

possible. Be sure containers are not leaking, or place
in leak proof containers. DO NOT MIX PRODUCTS.

store in trunk, away from children, pets, sparks and
flames.
The disposal service will be on a first come, first
served basis, and will remain open until estimated
disposal costs match the budgeted dollars.
Also available to businesses within the City of
Burlington, is a chance for them to properly dispose of
chemicals, at the City's contracted price of disposal.
By bringing the chemicals to the City site, businesses
can save in the labor and hauling expense of using
commercial waste services. These businesses must
pre-register with Veolia to take part in the Clean Sweep
drop off. To register, or to get a free disposal price
quote, contact Veolia at 1-800-255-5092, Ext. 45.
