Join Us for Coffee with an Alderman

Join Us for Coffee with an Alderman on Saturday September 23 from 8 am to 10 am or Tuesday, September 26 from 6 pm to 8 pm. Sessions will be held at the Burlington Fire Station, 165 W. Washington Street in the BRS conference room (west end of the building).

Connect with your city government and learn about how decisions made on the local level affect your daily life. Municipal government is the government closest to most citizens, and the one with the most direct daily impact upon residents. The purpose of these two hour sessions is to be accessible, continue transparency and promote citizen involvement in the community.

Coffee with an Alderman is an opportunity to learn about city services, provide valuable feedback regarding your concerns, needs, and city expenditures, be better informed and to learn how to get involved. Attendees may stay as little or as long as they chose. This will be a smaller open forum, not a formal presentation, to allow you to ask questions and have dialog with a couple of aldermen.

We look forward to seeing you there! Spread the word! All City of Burlington residents are welcome!
