2005 STREET & SIDEWALK RECONSTRUCTION
BID OPENING
FEBRUARY 22, 2005 AT 3:30 P.M.
COUNCIL CHAMBERS
The Board of Public Works was called to order by
Mayor Claude Lois at 3:32 p.m. in the council chambers
with the following in attendance: Mayor Claude Lois,
Alderman Jim McCourt, Attorney Tom Kircher, City
Administrator David Torgler, Mr. Larry Gobel and Ms.
Judy Gerulat of Department of Public Works, Mr. Tom Foht
and Mr. Jason Feucht of Kapur Engineering and numerous
interested bidders.
Alderman McCourt made a motion to accept the minutes
of the July 9, 2004 bid opening. Attorney Kircher
seconded the motion and with all in favor the motion
carried.
The following bids were opened and
presented for Commerce Street Reconstruction:

Alderman McCourt motioned to accept the bids and to
refer them to engineering for recommendation. Attorney
Kircher seconded and with all in favor the motion
carried.
The following bids were opened and presented for the
2005 Street and Sidewalk Construction:

Alderman McCourt motioned to accept the bids and
refer them to engineering for recommendation. Attorney
Kircher seconded and with all in favor the motion
carried.
Alderman McCourt motioned to adjourn and Attorney
Kircher seconded the motion. With all in favor the
meeting adjourned at 3:40 p.m.
