BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS

COUNCIL CHAMBERS

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 18, 2003 at 3:30 P.M.

The Board of Public Works was called to order by Mayor Claude Lois at 3:35 p.m. in the council chambers with the following in attendance: Mayor Claude Lois, Alderman Jim McCourt, Attorney Thomas Kircher, Street and Park Supervisor Larry Gobel, City Administrator David Torgler and several interested parties.

Alderman McCourt made a motion to accept the August 6, 2002 minutes. Attorney Kircher seconded the motion and with all in favor the motion carried.

The purpose of the February 18, 2003 bid was for the 2003 Lawn Mowing Contract. The following bids were complete with either bid bonds or certified checks:

There were three bids that did not have complete packets and they were the following: Lange Group, Finishing Touches and Hometown Landscaping.

Alderman McCourt made a motion to accept the four complete bids and refer them to Engineering for further study and recommendation to city council. Attorney Kircher seconded the motion and with all in favor the motion carried.

Alderman McCourt made a motion to adjourn the meeting and Attorney Kircher seconded. With all in favor the meeting adjourned at 4:18 p.m.
