The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by President Thomas
Pringle. Commissioners present were Patricia Spiegelhoff, Norris
(Jack) Berry, John Hotvedt, Ron Patla. All present.
Oral interviews for Chief of Police and possible selection of
Chief of Police:
Berry request to move into closed Session Pursuant to Wisconsin
State Statue 19.85 (1) to interview applicants at 5:06 p.m. Seconded
by Spiegelhoff. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion made to move out of Closed Session at 6:50 p.m. by Hotvedt,
was seconded by Berry. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion made by Hotvedt to offer conditional employment as
Burlington Chief of Police to Scot A. Eisenhauer. Seconded by Berry.
Based on successful completion of the following items:
- Submit to and successfully pass a physical examination
(including drug screen).
- Submit to and successfully pass a psychological assessment.
- Negotiate and come to agreement with the Mayor of Burlington
regarding wages and benefits related to the position.
- Establish and maintain residency in the City of Burlington.

Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Berry at 6:55 p.m to move into Closed Session pursuant
of SS 1985(1) Seconded by Patla, to discuss questions to be used to
interview police candidates from the eligibility list.
Motion to move out of closed session by Patla at 7:10 p.m.,
seconded by Hotvedt. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion made by President Pringle at 7:11 p.m. to adjourn.
Seconded by Spiegelhoff. Motion carried unanimously.
