The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by President Thomas Pringle. Commissioners present were Patricia Spiegelhoff, Norris (Jack) Berry and David Kaiser. Excused was Commissioner James Stobber. Also present was Police Chief David Walsh. Fire Chief Richard Lodle was excused.

Motion to approve the minutes of the June 1, 2005 meeting by Commissioner Spiegelhoff, seconded by President Pringle. Motion carried unanimously.

The President reported that the new fire truck has been delivered. He further reported that the department has a full compliment of firefighters consisting of 51 members.

Motion at 6:31 p.m. pursuant to the authority of Section 19.85(1)(c) to consider the performance evaluation of police officers, including probationary officers, by Commissioner Spiegelhoff, seconded by Commissioner Kaiser. Motion carried unanimously.

Motion at 6:40 p.m. to move out of closed session by Commissioner Spiegelhoff, seconded by Commissioner Kaiser. Motion carried unanimously.

1. Annual election of officers.

Motion to nominate as President, Thomas Pringle, by Commissioner Kaiser. Motion to close nominations and to direct the secretary to cast a unanimous ballot for President Pringle by Commissioner Berry, seconded by Commissioner Kaiser. Motion carried unanimously.

Motion to nominate as Secretary, Patricia Spiegelhoff, by Commissioner Kaiser. Motion to close nominations and to direct the secretary to cast a unanimous ballot for Secretary Spiegelhoff, by Commissioner Berry, seconded by Commissioner Kaiser. Motion carried unanimously.

Motion at 6:45 p.m. to adjourn by President Pringle, seconded by Commissioner Kaiser. Motion carried unanimously.
