The meeting was called to order at 6:33 p.m. by President Thomas Pringle. Commissioners present were Patricia Spiegelhoff, James Stobber, Norris (Jack) Berry. Excused was Commissioner David Kaiser. Also present were Assistant Chief Scott Eisenhauer and Fire Chief Richard Lodle.

Motion to approve the minutes of the February 2, 2005 special meeting was made by Commissioner Spiegelhoff seconded by Commissioners Berry. Motion carried unanimously.

Fire Chief Lodle asked to go into closed session pursuant to Wisconsin State Statute 19.85(1)(c) to interview applicant for firefighter. Motion by Commissioner Spiegelhoff, seconded by Commissioner Berry to go into closed session at 6:37 p.m. Motion carried unanimously. Motion to move out of closed session at 6:51 p.m. by Commissioner Stobber, seconded by Commissioner Spiegelhoff. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Commissioner Stobber seconded by Commissioners Berry to place applicant Ryan David Ladick on the eligibility list. Motion carried unanimously.

Chief Lodle kept the commission up to date on status of the new fire truck and what would happen to the fire truck being replaced.

Assistant Chief Eisenhauer asked the commission pursuant to Wisconsin State Statute 19.85(1)(c) to consider employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation to move into closed session at 7:05 p.m.. Motion to move to closed session by Commissioners Stobber, seconded by Commissioner Spiegelhoff. Motion carried unanimously. Motion to move out of closed session at 7:20 p.m. by Commissioner Berry, seconded by Commissioner Spiegelhoff. Motion carried unanimously.

The April 6, 2005 meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. in closed session pursuant to Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1)(c) to interview candidates for patrol officer positions.

Motion at 7:22 p.m. by Commissioner Pringle, seconded by Commissioner Spiegelhoff to adjourn. Motion carried unanimously.
