The meeting was called to order at 8:04 a.m. by President Thomas Pringle. Commissioners
present were Patricia Spiegelhoff, James Stobber, Norris (Jack) Berry and David Kaiser. Also present was Police Chief David Walsh.

Motion at 8:05 a.m., pursuant to Section 19.85(1)(c), Stats., by Commissioner Berry, seconded by Commissioner Stobber, to move into closed session to discuss with Police Chief and authorize the hiring of a probationary police officer. Motion carried unanimously.

Motion out of closed session at 8:10 a.m. by Commissioner Spiegelhoff, seconded by Commissioner Kaiser. Motion carried unanimously.

Motion by Commissioner Stobber, seconded by Commissioner Berry, to accept the recommendation of the Police Chief to hire Robert Jones as a probationary patrol officer. Motion carried unanimously.

Motion to adjourn at 8:11 a.m. by President Pringle, seconded by Commissioner Kaiser. Motion carried unanimously.
