The meeting was called to order at 9:00 a.m. by President Thomas Pringle. Commissioners
present were Patricia Spiegelhoff, James Stobber, Norris (Jack) Berry. Excused was Commissioner David Kaiser. Also present was Police Chief David Walsh.

Motion to approve the minutes of the February 4, 2004 meeting by Commissioner Berry, seconded by Commissioner Spiegelhoff. Motion carried.

The Commission was informed by Chief Walsh about the interview process up to todays meeting.

Moved by Commissioner Stobber, seconded by Commissioner Spiegelhoff to move to a closed session per authority of ss. 19.85(1)(c) to review Chiefs eligibility list and interview candidates. Motion carried.

Moved by Commissioner Stobber, seconded by Commissioner Spiegelhoff to move back to open session at 11:35 a.m. Motion carried. Motion by Commissioner Berry, seconded by Commissioner Stobber to accept the eligibility list submitted by Chief Walsh. Those in favor of motion by roll, Commissioners Spiegelhoff, Berry, Pringle and Stobber. Opposed: none. Motion was unanimous.

Motion to adjourn until next regular meeting dates, or upon call by Commissioner Pringle, seconded by Commissioner Spiegelhoff at 11:39 a.m. Motion carried unanimously.
