Chairman Darrell Eisenhardt called the
meeting to order at 6:31 P.M.
Roll Call: Present: Commissioners
Tom Follis, Kelly Kamlager, Heather Kane-Terhorst, Todd
Schalinske, Alderman Bob Prailes, DPW Supervisor Larry
Gobel and Chairman Darrell Eisenhardt. Absent: Clay
Brandt.
Approval of January 16. 2008 Minutes:
Chairman Eisenhardt entertained a motion for
approval of the January Minutes. Motion to approve made
by Alderman Prailes. Seconded by Commissioner Follis.
All voted aye, motion carried.
Citizens Comments: None
Aldermanic Report: Mayor Lois was
not present to discuss the relocation of Echo Park
pavilion, and Alderman Prailes had no new information.
DPW Supervisor Report: Larry Gobel,
DPW Supervisor stated there are several baseball
tournaments already scheduled for the upcoming season.
Mr. Gobel will also be contacting the various groups
asking for their schedules.
Mr. Gobel also reported that the DPW
crews have built several picnic tables over the winter
months. Tree trimming and removals have not been done
due the amount of snow.
Old Business
Relocation of Echo Pavilion: No new
information available.
Relocation of City Dog Park: Holly
Prailes Humphrey was present and expressed her concern
regarding Dog Park fencing that had been removed by the
developers at the Kohl's site. Larry Gobel, DPW
Supervisor stated he would find out why the fence was
removed.
Ms. Humphrey also stated that the Dog
Park Committee has collected approximately $3300.00, and
the Committee is awaiting information on four estimates
for fencing. Signs for fence will be ordered soon.
Blue Devil's Field Agreement
Mr. Gobel is working on an agreement for
the Blue Devils. The Blue Devils provided a copy of
their agreement with the School District, and Mr. Gobel
has forwarded a copy to Racine County for their review.
Other Items
Commissioner Schalinske received
donations from the various service clubs. He will give
them to Larry Gobel, DPW Supervisor for depositing when
all have been received, and letter of thanks will be
sent out to all.
There being no further items for
discussion, Chairman Eisenhardt entertained a motion for
adjournment. Motion made by Commissioner Kamlager.
Seconded By Commissioner Kane-Terhorst. Chairman
Eisenhardt adjourned the meeting at 7:04 P.M.
