Library promotional video: The City Attorney's office has been working on drafting a contract for the production of the library video. Falk discussed concerns raised by the city attorney's office. After discussion, the Board voted to maintain control of the project, supervise the production of the video, and use donated trust money to pay for the project. Braunschweig moved and Pockat seconded the motion that the Library should move forward with the video project using donated money. Motion passed.

The Board also discussed disbursal of the program money that was approved at the last meeting. It was to be taken out of the Booksale money. Braunschweig moved and Pockat seconded the motion to take $1,200.00 Program funds out of booksale money. Motion passed.

The Friends Group is in the process of reforming after years of inactivity. When the Friends Group was active, it managed the annual booksale. The Board discussed giving the project back to the Friends, and sharing the revenue between the Library Board and Friends Group. The Board then discussed providing seed money to the Friends group from last year's Booksale proceeds. Pockat moved and Braunschweig seconded the motion to give the Friends group $1,000.00 seed money from booksale proceeds. Motion passed.

Falk discussed the monthly statistics. Circulation is up in all areas, but DVDs are especially popular. We are in the process of developing a new logo celebrating our 100 years of service.

Falk asked the Board if they will be available for the meeting March 25, or if they would like to change the date of the next meeting. The consensus was that the March 25th date would work.
