The regular monthly meeting of the City of Burlington
Housing Authority was held on Thursday, May 1, 2008 at
Riverview Manor at 6:30 P.M. The meeting was called to
order by Chairman Lapp
COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Chairman Lapp, Secretary Heck,
Commissioner's Stoehr, Konicek and prospective
commissioner Charles Stubley. Also present was Resident
Manager, Dorothy Henning.
MINUTES: From the April 10th. Meeting were dispersed
to the commissioners and a motion was made by Konicek to
approve the minutes as read, seconded by Stoehr and
carried unanimously.

OCCUPANCY REPORT: Manager Henning reported that all
units are currently rented but one unit will be
available as of June 1, 2008
BUILDING AND MAINTENANCE: Discussion included the
updating of bids to be sought for snow removal, lawn
maintenance and mowing.
COMMUNICATIONS:

The
laundry lease with Coin Appliances was renewed for a
3 -year period from June 1, 2008 extending through
May 31, 2011 with no price increase at this time.

The commissioners were
given a copy of the by-laws of the City of
Burlington Housing Authority to review and discuss.

Henning and Lapp spoke
about the 2008 Spring Housing Seminar they attended
on April 30th. In Milwaukee.
- The Commissioners thanked Manager Henning and
Chairman Lapp for the extra involvement and time
spent after the sudden death of Chairman Lent.
The next regular meeting is scheduled for Thursday
June 5, 2008.
There being no further business, motion was made by
Stoehr to adjourn, seconded by Heck and carried
unanimously.
