Thursday, September 27, 2007 at 6:00 p.m.

Acting chairperson Meisner called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

Present were: Harry Putz, Jerry DeLay, Gary Meisner, Robert Miller, Arlene Runkel and Bob Kawalec

Excused: Mitch Januszewski

Guest: Alderman Peter Girolamo and Todd Schalinske

DeLay moved, Miller provided a second, that the minutes of the August 23, 2007 committee meeting be approved. Motion carried.

Open Floor: No comments were formally presented.

Airport Manager, Meisner presented several leases for approval.

Meisner moved, Miller provided a second that the city council approve a lease to Bill Wagner for 972 Bravo taxiway. Motion carried.

Meisner moved, Putz provided a second that the city council approve a lease to Bob Davis for 1416 Mike taxiway. Motion carried.

Meisner presented the airport manager’s report. We have received an approved list of hunters from the police department for goose control on airport lands. He further reported that our budget will remain approximately the same as last year’s. The articulated tractor that we received will be formally made an asset of the city.

Jerry DeLay updated the committee on our improvements to the airport’s fueling station.

Meisner moved, Miller provided a second that, Jerry DeLay attend a land use meeting on October 16 through the 17th at Wisconsin Rapids and that his expenses be covered. Roll Call: Miller, yes; DeLay, abstain; Kawalec, yes; Meisner, yes; Runkel, yes and Putz, yes. Motion carried.

Runkel reported on the successes of the recent Fly-In at the airport.

There being no further business, on a motion by DeLay and a second provided by Runkel, the committee meeting was adjourned on a roll call vote at 6:30 p.m. Roll Call Vote: Putz, yes; Runkel, yes; Meisner, yes; Kawalec, yes; DeLay, yes and Miller, yes. Motion carried.
