Chair Januszewski called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

Present were: Mitch Januszewski, Harry Putz, Arlene Runkel, John Ekes, Jerry Delay, Bob Kawalec and John Ekes.

Excused: Gary Meisner

Ekes Moved, Januszewski provided a second, that the minutes of the October 26, 2006 airport committee meeting be approved as presented. Motion Carried.

Ekes Moved, Januszewski provided a second, that the minutes of the January 8, 2007 special airport committee meeting be approved as presented. Motion Carried.

Putz Moved, Ekes provided a second that the committee adjourn into closed session, Wis. Stats 19.85(1)(c) Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. Motion carried.

The committee adjourned into closed session at 6:15 p.m.

Kawalec Moved, Januszewski provided a second that the committee reconvene into open session. Motion carried.

The committee reconvened at 6:25 p.m.

Januszewski Moved, Ekes provided a second, that the airport committee send to the City Council our recommendation to establish the position of Assistant Airport Manager and that upon approval the hiring process be initiated. Roll Call Vote: Putz, yes; Runkel, yes; Kawalec, yes, Januszewski, yes; Delay, yes and Ekes, yes. Motion Carried.

The committee welcomed Doug Kuhl who was in attendance at this meeting.

There being no further business, on a motion by Ekes and a second provided by Runkel, the committee meeting was adjourned on a roll call vote at 6:30 p.m. Roll Call Vote: Ekes, yes; Delay, yes; Januszewski, yes; Kawalec, yes; Runkel, yes and Putz, yes.
