Chair Januszewski called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

Present were: Harry Putz, Gary Meisner, Mitch Januszewski, Arlene Runkel, Bob Kawalec and Jerry Delay

Meisner Moved, Januszewski provided a second, that the minutes of the August 24, 2006 airport committee meeting be approved as presented. Motion Carried.

The committee continued to review and discuss our Six-year Capital Improvement Plan. The committee again decided to place on hold a vote on the plan until we receive further clarification of funding and/or funding sources.

The committee reviewed a proposal for improvements to our airport's fueling system with the aim of increasing fuel inventory and improved delivery systems. We have an approximate cost of $47,000.00. The Airport Manager will secure formal quotes.

During open floor audience comments, it was requested that the airport committee revisit our mowing in the spring with a focus both on mowing and weed control. It was suggested that a sign be posted instructing individuals who are using the tie-down facilities to contact the airport manager regarding rates and guidelines.

Airport Manager Meisner reported that he will seek bids for saw-cutting and filling of identified cracks. He was also requested about obtaining a stop sign by our gate.

Kawalec moved, Meisner seconded, that expenses be provided to Jerry Delay to attend an airport symposium regarding land use in and around airports. Roll Call: Kawalec, yes; Putz, yes; Meisner, yes; Runkel, yes; Januszewski, yes. Delay abstained. Motion carried.

Januszewski moved, Putz provided a second, that Meisner be provided with expenses to attend the Airport Management Seminar. Roll Call: Januszewski, yes; Putz, yes; Delay, yes; Runkel, yes and Kawalec, yes. Meisner abstained. Motion Carried.

There being no further business, on a motion by Meisner and a second provided by Runkel, the committee meeting was adjourned on a roll call vote at 6:35 p.m. Roll Call Vote: Runkel, yes; Delay, yes; Januszewski, yes; Meisner, yes; Kawalec, yes and Putz, yes. Motion Carried.
