CITY OF BURLINGTON
AIRPORT COMMITTEE MEETING

Burlington Municipal Airport Terminal Building
Burlington, Wisconsin

Thursday, August 25, 2005 at 6:00 p.m.

Airport Manager Gary Meisner called the meeting to order at 6:03 p.m.

Present were: Jerry DeLay; Arlene Runkel, Bob Kawalec, Gary Meisner and Harry Putz.

Excused were: John Ekes and Mitch Januszewski

Kawalec moved, DeLay provided a second, that: the minutes of the June 23, 2005 Airport Committee be approved as presented. Motion Carried.

Meisner reported that Runway repairs and maintenance are underway. Areas of black top are in and crack filling will be scheduled shortly.

Under the Airport Manager’s Report:

Meisner presented a draft budget for committee review. A final copy will be printed for presentation to the city council. A new ground wire retractor will be installed in the near future.

Putz moved, Runkle provided a second, that the city council approved the sale and issuance of a lease for 932 Golf Taxiway from Brian Ehlert to Dick Hoffman.

Roll Call Vote: DeLay, yes; Kawalec, yes; Meisner, yes; Runkle, yes and Putz, yes. Motion Carried.

Under Other Matters:

Runkle requested additional help for future "Fly-In’s."

There being no further business, on a motion by Januszewski and a second by Ekes, the committee meeting was adjourned on a roll call vote at 6:37 p.m.

Roll Call Vote: Putz, yes; Runkle, yes; Meisner, yes; DeLay, yes and Kawalec, yes. Motion Carried.
