AIRPORT COMMITTEE MEETING

Burlington Municipal Airport Terminal Building
Burlington, Wisconsin

Thursday, June 23, 2005 at 6:00 p.m.

Chairperson Januszewski called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

Present were: John Ekes; Jerry DeLay; Mitch Januszewski; Bob Kawalec; Gary Meisner; and Harry Putz

Excused: Arlene Runkel

Kawalec moved, Meisner provided a second, that: the minutes of the May 26, 2005 Airport Committee be approved as presented. Motion Carried.

Under the Airport Manager’s Report:

Meisner reported that connections to our main well have been completed. Work will be done shortly to clean-up the construction area. Meisner further reported that the self-serve system is working well and is being well received by area pilots. Regarding a computer room for pilots, Meisner stated that work should be completed shortly.

Under Other Matters:

Ekes reported that a lease was adjusted to include a "cancel lease provision" if the septic field ( for which the lease was written ) is abandoned for any reason.

The committee decided to cancel its July meeting and will meet next in August.

There being no further business, on a motion by Ekes and a second by Mitch, the committee meeting was adjourned on a roll call vote at 6:09 p.m.

Roll Call Vote: Meisner, yes; Putz, yes; DeLay, yes; Kawalec, yes; Ekes, yes and Januszewski yes. Motion Carried.
