CITY OF BURLINGTON

COMMITTEE MEETING
Burlington Municipal Airport Terminal Building
Burlington, Wisconsin
April 28, 2005 at 6:00 p.m.
Acting Chair, John Ekes called the meeting to order
at 6:00 p.m.
Present were:
John Ekes; Jerry DeLay; Arlene Runkel and Harry Putz
Excused: Mitch Januszewski; Bob Kawalec and Gary Meisner
Guests: none
DeLay moved, Runkel provided a second, that the
minutes of the March 24, 2005 Airport Committee be
approved printed. Motion Carried.
Runkel moved, DeLay provided a second that the city
council be requested to add an additional five hundred
dollars to cover the cost of signage due to an error in
the quote. Installation will be at no cost to the city.
Roll Call: Putz, yes; Runkel, yes; DeLay, yes and Ekes,
yes.
Under miscellaneous project status update, it was
reported that fuel price signs will be mounted by the
airport authority.
Under other business, it was reported that the fire
department will provide a fire extinguisher safety
program at the annual Fly-In on August 28th,
2005. A reminder was noted that the sign’s regarding
take-off procedures need to be replaced.
There being no further business, on a motion by
Runkel and a second by DeLay, the committee meeting was
adjourned on a roll call vote at 630 p.m. Roll Call
Vote: Ekes, yes; DeLay, yes; Runkel, yes and Putz, yes.
Motion carried.
