Chairman Januszewski called the meeting to order at
6:00 p.m.
Present were: Mitch Januszewski, Harry Putz. Gary
Meisner, John Ekes, Jerry DeLay and Arlene Runkel
Excused: Bob Kawalec
Guests: none
DeLay moved, Meisner provided a second, that the
minutes of the September 23,2004 Airport Committee be
approved as presented. Motion Carried.
Meisner moved, DeLay provided a second. the committee
forward to the city council for approval a lease for 909
and 925 Juliette and 900 and 916 Bravo, a Bigelow
-Wagner -Paschal transaction. Roll call vote: Putz, Yes;
Januszewski, yes; DeLay, yes; Ekes, yes; Meisner, yes;
Runkel, yes. Motion carried.
Meisner reported that the Self-Serve Fuel System is
working well.
Meisner reported that Federal funding for airport
security is available. This item will be discussed in
further detail at our next scheduled meeting.
The airport committee reviewed budget spreadsheets
and projections.
Ekes moved, Meisner provided a second, that the
budget as presented be forwarded to city council for
approval with the Anticipated Actual 2004 Rent number
updated for accuracy. Roll call vote: Januszewski, yes;
Delay, yes; Ekes, yes; Meisner, yes; Runkel, yes and
Putz, yes. Motion carried.
Ekes moved, Putz provided a second, that the city
council approve the formation of a capital Improvement
Fund or account for the accumulation of excess income
generated by the airport. Roll call vote: DeLay, yes;
Ekes, yes; Meisner,yes; Runkel, yes; Putz, yes;
Januszewski yes. Motion carried.
Januszewski moved. Runkel provided a second, that the
committee forward the Resolution Petitioning The
Secretary of Transportation For Airport Improvement Aid
( document #1 ) and Memo regarding airport improvements
( document #3 ) to the city council for consideration
and approval. Roll call vote: Ekes, yes; Meisner , yes;
Runkel, yes; Putz, yes; Januszewski, yes; DeLay, yes.
Motion carried.
Due to committee meetings falling on traditional
holiday periods, the committee will cancel its regularly
scheduled November and December meetings to be held on
December 9th at 6:00 p.m. at the airport terminal
building.
There being no further business, on a motion by DeLay
and a second by Runkel, the committee meeting was
adjourned on a roll call vote at 7:23 pm. Roll Call
Vote: Meisner, yes; Runkel, yes; Putz, yes; Januszewski,
yes; DeLay, yes; Ekes, yes. Motion carried.
