Burlington is proud of our City and our rich history. Settled in 1835 Burlington is now home to 10,824 people. Our location along the White and Fox Rivers established the City as a commercial hub for western Racine County. Today, our central location between Milwaukee and Chicago in southeastern Wisconsin continues to draw businesses and people. Our thriving community of 750 businesses includes a variety of large and small companies, including Nestle, Aurora Healthcare (Hospital and clinics), Echo Lake Foods, Lavelle, LDV and many others. We are home to the Western Racine County Service Center and to Gateway Technical College with convenient access to workforce resources, social services programs and secondary education programs.
Burlington offers something for everyone with a historic downtown, national retailers, top-notch infrastructure, thriving neighborhoods, award-winning schools and two business parks all making Burlington a highly desired place to live, work, and play.
