This means that some non-essential services will be discontinued during this time.

The compost site typically opens for the season at the beginning of April. The site opening has been postponed and biweekly curbside brush collection has also been postponed, as these are not essential services. By opening the compost site, this would encourage unnecessary travel and interaction that are not essential for public health and safety. Therefore, is not complaint with the Governor’s Safer at Home order.
